Welcome to the Thomas film blog. The film is coming out in 2012. Here, I will post updates on the film whenever they appear.

Conformed: The film has been Cancelled

It's official, Shane Acker has cancelled the Thomas movie. But someone else might be taking the reins now...me!

The video will explain.

Cancelled?

According to sources (that may not be reliable), WETA Digital has stated that they were not working on the animation for the upcoming Thomas film, and Josh Klausner said on Twitter that he does not know the current status of the film, as he has already sold the script, but said that he hopes the movie is made, as the script is "good." It is possible, but not confirmed, that the Thomas movie may have been cancelled. Deadline has stated that the film is set for release in 2013. Only time will tell whether the movie is being made or not.

Audio Drama

http://www.youtube.com/user/SI3DFilms#p/u/11/NR6Mnenc8rM

This is one of the most amazing things I have ever seen. SI3D Films has started an audio drama. Part 1 is already out for viewing, but I just had to show you this amazing trailer. It almost reminds you of a little something we saw a while back, doesn't it?

First Look Updates

Well, now I'm officially pissed off. The date has been moved even further to 2014. ARRRGGGG!!!!!

But, at least some good came out of these updates. We have a plot, and even: a teaser poster.  YES!

Shane Acker, the director of 9, will direct the Thomas movie, and has said that the plot will be that a boy has been spereated from his father, so he is taken to the island of Sodor (a place where his father has been, but can't remember), and that it will involve bonding.

Not bad I suppose. I guess it reminds me of when me and my father had problems. We are able to talk to each other now, and I'm thankful for that.

I wonder how the diesels will be involved.

Moved back yet again

Guess what? The Thomas film is being pushed back to 2012. But at least Hit has a good excuse. A whole bunch of real engines in live action + CGI = one expensive flick. Oh well. I hope I don't end up getting angry again like I did on thetophatt's blog. Again, I'm posting this because it's news related to the Thomas film, and I'm giving my own opinion. I have no intention of copying anything. I guess it'll be a while before we see something new.

Klausner Hushed?

I have read the report, and since this is the blog for the Thomas 2011 film only, I must say that when I read thetophatts blog article, I learned that Josh Klausner is now being quiet about the film for some reason. I wonder why. Shoot, and I wanted to know when the trailer would be released. It's ridiculous. Klausner doesn't need to reveal a plot or anything, but we should have seen a trailer by now. Maybe in a few weeks or so this issue will cease to exist, and I can be happy.

Too early?

I just recently got in contact with Thetophatts, and he says that its too early to talk about the film. WHAT?!

This movie is coming out in the spring. It is not too early. We're perfectly on time! Day of the Diesels is coming out in the second half of 2011, and it has already posted book names on Amazon. We still have not seen a trailer for the live action film. What is taking Hit so long to finally understand that people want to see something? You may not, but I do. I'm angry that Hit is trying to keep secrets.

Think about this for a moment. We knew that there was going to be an Avengers movie LONG before its going to come out. Thor is coming out next May, and we just recently saw a trailer for that.

If I don't see a trailer with the Yogi Bear movie, I am going to be P*SS*D off. I have waited long enough. HIT Entertainment, I have no problem with what you have done to Thomas. If you're trying to focus on little kids, then you did what you had to do in order to keep Thomas on the air. Why is it taking so long to release a trailer for the film? Comment your personal opinions now.
